Healthy Start vouchers help young and low-income pregnant women, and children, to buy fruits, vegetables, milk and infant formula.
And yet last year families in England and Wales missed out on an estimated £28.6 million worth of vouchers, a huge blow to household budgets.
We think every child deserves a healthy start in life and that the Government should invest last year’s underspend of £28.6 million into making sure no families miss out on this vital support next year.
*If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, Healthy Start is administered slightly differently and as such we aren’t targeting MPs in your area about this issue right now. Find out more.
